The Winnipeg Jets re-signed restricted free-agent forward Kyle Connor on Saturday to a seven-year, $50 million deal.

Connor's deal carries an average annual value of $7.14 million.

The Winnipeg Jets and right winger Patrik Laine have agreed to a two-year, $13.5 million contract, the team announced.

The Calgary Flames have agreed to a three-year contract with restricted free agent Matthew Tkachuk, the team announced Wednesday.

The new contract has an average annual value of $7 million, the highest on the team.

Another of the big restricted free agents is off the board with the Tampa Bay Lightning signing center Brayden Point to a three-year, $20.25 million deal.

"He is the consummate professional with an unwavering commitment to team success, growing as a player and improving every day. It is that mindset that makes him an outstanding role model, teammate and person, on and off the ice. We look forward to getting Brayden back on the ice with his Lightning teammates as soon as possible."

Thomas Chabot has agreed to an eight-year, $64 million contract extension with the Ottawa Senators.

Chabot had one season remaining on his entry-level deal.

"At the end of the day, to be here for the next nine years and build something together with the group and get something going and be a real competitive team within the next couple years, this can only be exciting," Chabot said.

Chabot was the 18th pick in the 2015 NHL Draft.

The Philadelphia Flyers wrapped up another of their key free agents by signing forward Travis Konecny to a six-year, $33 million deal.

"We are happy to have Travis under contract for the next six seasons," general manager Chuck Fletcher said in a statement Monday. "Travis has shown progression in each of his three seasons and is an integral part of our group of young forwards. His speed, skill and tenacity sets him apart in today's NHL."

The Canucks and restricted free-agent forward Brock Boeser have agreed to a three-year contract extension, the team announced Monday.

The deal holds an average annual value of $5.875 million.

"We're very pleased to have Brock re-sign," Vancouver general manager Jim Benning said. "He's a talented player, a key contributor to our offense and an important part of our team's future. We look forward to having Brock join the team in preparation for the upcoming season."

Another top restricted free agent signed with his current team Sunday when defenseman Charlie McAvoy inked a three-year, $14.7 million deal.

Bruins general manager Don Sweeney made the announcement that the 21-year-old would remain with the team, just days after training camp began. 

The Toronto Maple Leafs and restricted free-agent winger Mitch Marner have agreed to a six-year deal, the team announced Friday, ending one of the most controversial negotiations of the NHL offseason.

Almost a dozen prominent restricted free agents remain unsigned on the eve of training camps around the league, and several situations threaten to linger into the season, like P.K.Subban in 2013 and Toronto's William Nylander a year ago.

Maple Leafs teammate Mitch Marner, Tampa Bay's Brayden Point, Philadelphia's Ivan Provorov and Travis Konecny, Colorado's Mikko Rantanen, Boston's Charlie McAvoy and Brandon Carlo, and Winnipeg's Patrik Laine and Kyle Connor could all be conspicuously absent when camps open this week.
